About me
Francisco has focused his masters in digital sociology, with special emphasis on big data. He's trained in a variety of digital methods with experiences in data scraping, cleaning and visualization with R, Gephi, DataStudio and others. His dissertation discusses algorithmic disputes in reference to the Coronavirus pandemic. He has helped fund two laboratories in his university, Digital Studies Lab (LED-UFRJ) and Social Taught on Data (Data-PS – UFRJ/UFF) and volunteered in two academic journals. His work is focused on digital sociology, network theory and cultural studies.
